Ryad Mezzour
Minister of Industry and Trade
He graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich in 1996. Then, he began his professional career in Switzerland as a Research & Development engineer with the ABB group, before joining the Deloitte firm as a strategy consultant.
Back in Morocco in 2003, Mr. Ryad Mezzour successively held the positions of General Manager of Budget Maroc, Director at the Société des Fonderies de Plomb de Zellidja and General Manager of Suzuki Maroc.
Mr. Ryad Mezzour had been Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council since 2013, before joining the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy in 2019 as Chief of Cabinet of then Minister Moulay Hafid Elalamy.
Very involved in the economic and social environment, Mr. Ryad Mezzour was vice-president of the Green Economy Commission at the Moroccan confederation of business association (CGEM) between 2012 and 2015 and is a member of the board of several nonprofit institutions.
Mr. Ryad Mezzour is married and has two children.

Following his PhD doctoral degree in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics awarded in 1993 he had occupied several scientific positions at the semi-private non-profit research center CERFACS. In 2001 he was appointed as managing director of the commercial CFD software provider ANSYS located in Paris.
In 2003, he became consultant in the field of European project management before joining in 2007, the innovation cluster Aerospace Valley located in Toulouse. In his current position as Deputy Director for International Affairs he today is in charge of the international business development of small and medium sized enterprises that are member of Aerospace Valley. Further activities comprise the relations with European and international aerospace stakeholders including clusters such as Aéro Montréal.

AIRBUS and its whole supply chain have been faced with significant challenges over the past few years, from major restructuring to a worldwide pandemic whilst still maintaining an exceptional backlog to be delivered across the next 10 years.
The objective is to deliver all these aircrafts; On time, On cost and On quality, this represents an industrial, commercial and technical challenge for the global supply chain and required Airbus to foster its detail part business around key strategic suppliers.
Beyond the industrial excellence which is expected from all our suppliers, some differentiating factors are also critical when selecting Airbus Atlantic key suppliers : globalization, innovation capacity, value creation, sustainable operational performance and continuous improvement.
The presentation aims at presenting the AIRBUS Atlantic Detail Parts development, reviewing its sourcing strategy and its implementation.

I am a trained aerospace engineer.
After a brief 3-year stint in the automotive sector, I spent 23 years in the aerospace industry, all within the Airbus Group.
I began my career as a Production Manager and undertook several activity transfers from France to Morocco across various sectors, including metal aerostructures, wiring, and composites.
Since February 2020, I have held the position of General Manager at Airbus Atlantic Morocco Composites.
We exclusively focus on composites, cabin components, and aerostructures. Our primary products include cockpit
linings for the SA aircraft, ATR600 luggage compartments, and SA landing gear doors. We currently employ 440 people on-site and anticipate a 15% growth rate for the next year.

David Boulbes

David Boulbes is an engineer graduated from the French Institute of Advanced Mechanics in Clermont-Ferrand. He initiated his career in 2002 within the aerospace engineering field in Toulouse, before joining the Ratier-Figeac entity of equipment manufacturer Collins Aerospace in 2005, a part of the RTX group. Over the course of more than 10 years, he held the position of Flight Test Manager for high-power propellers. Notably, he oversaw propeller test monitoring on the Airbus A400M and coordinated his Support teams across various sites in Europe.
Subsequently, following a three-year tenure as Program Manager, he transitioned into Operations and in 2017 has taken the head of Production of the company's Composite Propellers. In 2022, he has been appointed Managing Director of RFM in Casablanca, a facility that has been producing and certifying cockpit equipment for major aircraft manufacturers for over a decade.

Program Director
Jonathan Hamel is currently working as Project Director Pratt & Whitney Canada responsible for the launch of Pratt & Whitney Maroc (PWM), in Casablanca. In this role, he is responsible for the construction of the new 130,000-square-foot greenfield facility built with lean principles and CORE methodology to manufacture detailed static and structural machined parts for various engine models. Jonathan is also leading product development, technology integration, industrial engineering, budget and schedule of this project. After joining Pratt Whitney Canada in 2002, he went on to assume positions of increasing responsibility in operations management, continuous improvement, international Supply Chain and project management.
He has demonstrate his innovative leadership driving positive change to achieve organizational goals in an high performance environment. His ability in building talented teams in various multi-cultural and cross-disciplinary settings has been instrumental to the success of many projects.
He holds an MBA from HEC Montreal, a post-graduate diploma in Management from HEC Montreal and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Montreal University.

Raphael Samson graduated as a mechanical systems engineer from the french engineer school UTC. He joined aerospace with ALTEN providing engineering consulting to AIRBUS Helicopters.
In 2011 he moved to Morocco and started at IMA - the Moroccan Aeronautical Professional Institute, to develop technical and management training partnerships with aeronautical companies.
In 2013, at BOMBARDIER Aerospace North Africa, he held various positions in Production management by starting the Learjet program, in Program management for CRJ and Learjet, and then in Industrial Transfer management.
In 2017 he joined the SABCA group to lead the Morocco plant specialized in the assembly and equipment of aerostructures. Bringing together a multi-skilled and multi-site team, he pursues the development of the SABCA group in Morocco with the construction of a new 16,000 m² plant and, with the synergies between SABCA Morocco and its mother company in Belgium, the SABCA group is awarded in 2021 by Pilatus for the assembly and equipment of the complete fuselage and wing structures of their Business Jet PC12. This new contract boosts the growth of the Moroccan site which now has 300 employees.

Franck Vicente
Project and Innovation Coordinator Europe
Franck Vicente has been in charge of coordinating innovative projects at SAM outillage in saint Etienne (Head quater) since December 2020.
His role involves working across the board with all contacts, at all levels and in all departments of the company, to ensure that the roadmap of strategic and structuring innovation projects for the company is perfectly mastered. He validates the permanent alignment of customers, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply-chain, human resources and financial management with a view to success in a VICA environment and with a long-term objective.
His previous experience includes working in the aerospace industry, manufacturing jet engine fins as International Sales Manager for SMOC industrie, and developing special machining tools for the civil and military nuclear industry, as well as the oil and gas sector, as a manager.
Franck trained as an electromechanical engineer.
Christophe Delqué

Christophe has been leading SPACE since November 2019. Prior to this, he worked at Ratier-Figeac (Collins Aerospace) since 2007, developing the Group's operations in Asia and Morocco. From 2011, he piloted the creation and management of Ratier's Casablanca site and developed its local supply chain. He also supported the growth of the local aerospace ecosystem as Vice-Chairman of GIMAS.
Stephen Orr
Vice President/General Manager
Stephen Orr was born in Northern Ireland in 1963, and graduated from the University of Ulster with a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Management in 2000. During his time with Bombardier, Stephen held various management positions, undertaking an increasing scope of responsibility in areas such as Operations Management, Material Logistics and Programmes. He was also involved in several large-scale projects, most notably a lean manufacturing implementation across a site of over 1500 people.
In 2009, Stephen was appointed Director of Supplier Quality for Bombardier Aerospace, based in Montreal. This senior management mandate included the creation and implementation of a Global Supplier Management System. He was subsequently appointed Vice President, Quality, in 2021. This global role covered all aspects of certification, manufacturing and aftermarket, as well as managing the relationship with the various certification bodies, such as TCA, FAA and EASA. Stephen was also instrumental in the successful introduction of a single Quality Management System to cover all the manufacturing and aftermarket sites across Bombardier – a first for the company.
Driven by his ongoing desire to improve, Stephen accepted the challenge in 2014 to set up and run a new manufacturing site in Morocco. As Vice President and General Manager of the Moroccan facility, he has overseen its establishment, growth and success, and has built strong relations with both the government of Morocco and the local aerospace community.
Following the acquisition of Bombardier’s Morocco operations by Spirit AeroSystems, Stephen has maintained his position as Vice President and General Manager.
Stephen is an active member on the board of the Moroccan Aerospace Industries Association and has been appointed President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Morocco.
Ghita Slaoui
Associate Director for Cyber & Data Privacy in Africa
Ghita Slaoui, Associate Director for Cyber & Data Privacy in Africa at TNP Morocco and President & co-founder of Women For Cyber Africa (WFCA), plays a crucial role in contributing to the coverage of cybersecurity issues in Africa. She is also a key advocate for empowering women in this field. With over 11 years of experience, acquired both in Morocco and France, Ghita has developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the field of data security. She has focused on key issues such as information systems and personal data security governance, risk management, as well as transformation strategies in cybersecurity. Her double expertise, encompassing both technical and regulatory aspects, enables her to comprehend the technical aspects of information security as well as data protection regulations. Furthermore, Ghita possesses substantial experience in program and project management, as well as in awareness and change management. For more than a year, Ghita held the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at a major African bank. Additionally, her leadership and dedication serve as a source of inspiration for many women aspiring to excel in the cybersecurity industry.
